R.O.P Reveiw
Here is my reveiw of Roger's R.O.P album
I'm not gonna tell you what i thinnk the song is about, i'll let you decide.
I will however tell you what think of it.
Every Trick in the Book
I enjoyed this song it was well written and could, with the
right kind of publicity make the top ten. The drums are good
the bass sounds awesome Mikail has some guitar work on it as well
In Jeopardy
Another great song I like it better than the studio version, that's
not to say that the studio version isn't good, it was. Helliwell
on sax it what made it better this time, an excellent song.
Showdown
I was blown away when I heard this song and this one too was well
written it would definitly reach top ten if it weren't for the darn
publicity thing.
Don't You Want to Get High
Yet another well written song great for un-winding after a long day or
just for listening pleasure, a must listen.
Take the Long Way Home - R.O.P.
A great old song but it was different this time.
The Harmonica was as good as Rick but the rest of the song made up for it.
Red Lake
Still I'm wanting more!!
Melancholic
This song left me saying where's a Andrew Hodgson ablum at.
When the Cello came in I became blown away a great song
Time Waits for No One
A great song Terry Riley is excellent. another song to un-wind to
and is inspirational
No Colours
This song stuck in my head it was a nice song defintly worth
a another listen.
The Logical Song - R.O.P.
This song sounded the same the until the chorus
cause the drums were changed (take listen to both versions you'll see what I mean) but non the less it was a great version.
Smelly Feat
Nice tempo, nice beat, it just didn't grab me but it seemed very retro.
Give a Little Bit - R.O.P.
Loved this version seemed better than the orignal. I wish it would've been
done on paris.
