If you every come to Newfoundland one thing you might see as you drive along the coast are Icebergs. If you want to see them up close take a tour, there are a number of places in Newfoundland that will take you to see the icbergs. Below you will see just a few pictures of some icebergs.









Icebergs are usually 15,000 year old chunks of ice. They take about 3 years to drift down to the Southern coast of Newfoundland. The Northeast Coast of Newfoundland is sometimes referred to as Iceberg alley because of the great number of Icebergs seen there. Between 80 - 8000 a year.
