Haven

Haven may be on a mountaintop so high almost touching the sky

In a hidden valley by a softly whispering and rippling stream

Haven may be a shaded park in the city with traffic passing by

On a roof top alone at night with the moon, stars and a dream

Haven may be in the middle of the ocean with the stars on high

Beside a pond with fish jumping and flashing in the sunlight's gleam

Haven may be in a church on your knees seeking insight from on high

Or that little place inside finding peace not a sleep but as in a dream

May you find peace and comfort !
