in the beginning there was god-and he thought that he'd have a laugh, and he gave us stuart.

stuart starting hitting stuff about three or four years ago and has just got faster. his double pedals provide a wonderful bass laden assault and scare the shit out of a lot of people including me. he has an air of arian about him, perhaps because he is, indeed a german stormtrooper and occassionally loses the place in front of large numbers of people.

of all the drummers that i have seen and all the people that i have heard play the drums, stuz still kicks f*ck out of all of them-his style is so varied, his snare rolls are almost incendiary and he is so loud that he burst one of the p.a. speakers when we played curlers.

he got everyone together as well-i used to sing with stuz back in 96 when me and him and r.b. were in a band together. but we were all shit. nevermind.
