Stage 1 Camshaft Installation

Here is my first picture, and I have removed the MAF and the cone filter. Next I will remove the hood, intake manifold and valve covers.
The valve cover has been removed exposing the right bank of camshafts.
Both valve covers are now off wxposing the factory cams.
A (slightly blurry) veiw of the timing belt, camshaft pulleys, and the dreaded water pump (mine was leaking in two different places)
The right side cams have been removed.I only use organic oil, pretty clean for about 134k miles. :o)
AHHH! This is my favorite picture! This is about half of all the parts I had to take out. The other half are to the back and right of me. I like to show my friends this picture when they ask why I didn't return their pages!
The stage 1 cams are in, so are the new valve springs and valve seals.Whew! We are a little over halfway done. :o)
Ok, I adjusted the valves, replaced the water pump,CPS sensor, cam sensor, and the timing belt. I repainted the timing belt covers in a metallic black paint.I like the way it looks anyway. Now the valve covers are back on along with new SHO SHOP 8.5 millimeter plug wires.
FINISHED! Well almost, still have to put the hood on. It started at the first turn of the key.
