And along come another young British band who are making sounds huge enough to fill
stadiums and force the sky off it's hinges, when they've probably rarely seen life outside
the Dog and Trumpet on a Thursday evening.
As off-putting a comparison as it may sound, Glitterbox combine the theatrics of say U2
with the indie slinkiness of your Shed Sevens and your Marions to come up with something
that manages to deliver itself with a MacGowen or even Cobain-esque anger.
Then again, if they really are 'Scared Of All the World' - which would explain the
claustrophobic fury of the chorus - then commercial success wouldn't seem that inviting
anyway, would it.
