Back to Lives

Lets face it, live albums come and live albums go. Most are forgotten. When do you last remember a live album being high up in the album charts?

With Thunder, it is different. Thunder are a band born to play live. Okay, not all of their studio albums have been fantastic, but they never put on a bad show live. Thunder are a good old fashioned rock n roll band. When you go to see them you know exactly what you are going to get...rock n roll played at high volume with a feel good factor that not even Adam got when the first man slipped it into the first woman.

Live takes the essence of their live shows and does not disappoint. You wouldnt go to see them live and be disappointed and you won't be if you buy this....this is value for money. Two CDs, 22 songs recorded over 4 nights with a different set list each night so as to have a huge array of songs to choose from.

All the classics are there... Back Street Symphony, Shes So Fine, Low Life In High Places and a stonking rendition of A Better Man in witch the fans play their part in the on going audience participation which is near enough compulsory at a Thunder gig.

The underrated songs off the last 2 albums are there too, River Of Pain, Welcome To the Party and Moth To the Flame all add their bit to this rock n roll extravaganza.

The thing ends with the ultimate Thunder crowd pleaser Dirty Love which seems to sum up the entire album....we are here to have a fucking good time and thats what were having.

I know , its only rock n roll, but I like it!
