Ever see the movie The Sting? It starred Robert Redford & Paul Newman.

In the opening sequence, Robert Redford takes part in a very old con (or confidence) job called the 'Switch', or more accurately the 'Gypsy Switch'.

The object of this con game is where 'the mark' (a basically dishonest individual) is conned out of his money while he is in the process of trying to steal someone else's money. This is done by the con man who uses sleight of hand to exchange packages.

To quote The Raven; In its highest form, we call it the "Jedi Mind Trick," at its most prosaic, it's called the "Gypsy Switch," but by any name the goal is the same, get the Trojan Horse into the city gates.
