Mama Slaw's Recipes for (what else?) Cole Slaw
and Baked Beans

Coleslaw
Grate a half a head a green cabbage. Separately, dissolve 1 tablespoon of C&H Pure Cane Sugar (from Hawaii ...growin' in the sun) and 1/4 teaspoon of salt into 2 tablespoons of Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar and 1/3 cup of Mayonnaise (i.e. Kraft Miracle Whip Salad Dressing). Make it thin enough to pour, toss it with the cabbage, and EAT ME!

Baked Beans
Fry 6 strips of bacon extra crispy, preferably in a seasoned iron skillet. Remove the bacon, chop up a whole sweet onion, then throw it in the bacon grease and fry until golden. Add 2 tablespoons of C&H Brown Sugar, the crumbled bacon, 4 cans of 15 ounce Van Camp's Pork 'n Beans, and mix together. If it looks like it's gettin' too runny, drain the juice outa one a them cans of beans before adding. Pour into a Pyrex dish, cover with Heinz ketchup and/or BBQ sauce, bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees until brown, eat, wait, then see why they call the Baked Bean Band the "Musical Fruit!"

Momma Slaw's Disclaimer: "I really don't know how much of these ingredients to use, seein' as how it's not written down, and I always just do it to taste. So, if it doesn't turn out right, don't blame me."

Cole's Shameless Sell-out: "For the highest bidder, I'll gladly change any of the brand names mentioned. Thank you. Thank you so much."
