Aren't I the ugly one.

My name is Nicholas Alexander James. I live in Sydney, Australia. I was born on October 17 1980. I am in year 12 (my final year) at Sydney Boys High School. It's a public school that likes to think it's private, but I know its secret. It's not that bad a school. The doors are quite nice. After I finish up there, I am going to do Social Work at UNSW.

I play guitar, ukulele, kazoo and to a lesser extent, billiards. I have played guitar since 1989, so I am pretty damn good. I am not in a band yet, but I would like to be. My music tastes are not very modern, unfortunately. I like the Beatles, Cream, The Doors etc, and although most people my age would agree that they have good music, you can't really dance (ie jump up and down and nod your head in unison) to it. R&B is complete shit, so is pop and techno. By this time you should all know my views on the Spice Girls. I am slowly getting my interests up to current standards though. I've tried to combine them, but after my attempt at a classical version of "Tubthumping" was a rather miserable (albeit interesting) failure I have decided to find a few good songs and learn how to play them. Properly.

I have a number of very strong political views, all of which point (strangely) to the far left. Where they should be, dammit. I choose not to align myself with a particular ideology because they are fine for whoever wrote it, but not for me. I call this Nickism ;)
