Sharon separated herself from Nick and left the VIP room in a rush. She scanned the bar but didn't see Catey. The place was so crowded she could barely see anything. Her short height didn't help matters anymore. The dance floor was packed, she couldn't walk through it without interfering dancing partners. Finally she found Catey dancing with some random guy.
"Catey, uh, unless you're deaf dumb and blind, I'm sure yu've noticed that 'Nsync just walked in a second ago. I think you need to figure out what you're gonna do...Catey? Are you listening to me?"
"Hmm?" Catey mumbled. She hadn't even stopped dancing since Sharon approached her and she definitely showed no signs of caring. She was completely torn.
"Catey I'm not going to baby sit your ass all night. If something happens in there I'm not gonna stand up for you, do you hear me?"
"Yeah just leave me the fuck alone," Catey snapped.
Sharon stormed off wondering why she even remained friends with Catey. She vowed never to do anything for her again. She entered the now crowded VIP room looking for Nick. She spotted him with Brian and a couple of their body guards.
"Have you seen Catey?" Brian asked her.
"Yeah, you need to keep an eye on that bitch, she's acting up," Sharon said without thinking.
"What?! She didn't mean that, she's been drinking..." Nick said in her defense.
"The fuck I didn't mean it. After tonight I am no longer friends with Catey. She loves herself too much to love anyone else."
Nick and Brian remained silent to that comment for a moment.
"Well, um, I guess I better go see what she's up to," Brian said and quickly left Sharon and Nick behind.
"What is the matter with you tonight? I can't believe you said that in front of Brian. Aren't you the one who is constantly trying to hide the truth from him?"
"Yeah well I've realized I've been wasting my time for nothing, Catey is an ungrateful bitch. She doesn't even deserve Brian. I hope he does find out so he can leave her and find someone worthwhile."
Nick didn't have a reply for this because he agreed a hundred percent.
"Nicky can we just go home? I'm tired and this scene is wack. Plus those bastards just walked in and I don't want to have to deal with them..."
"Leaving so soon?" Justin came up from behind and surprised the both of them.
"We were thinking about it," Nick said. "How've you been? Long time no see," Nick stuck his hand out to shake Justin's but was ignored.
"I've been all right, you know how it is. Working our butts off as usual. Hey, didn't I see Brian here a minute ago?"
"Yeah he just went out the dance floor. Why?" Sharon asked.
"No reason. I just wanted to exchange a few words with him about his girlfriend's blow job techniques. What was her name again?"
"Go to hell you piece of shit. Stay the fuck away from Brian and Catey. I know you remember her name since she's the only girl who's given you the time of day," Nick said.
"Nick let's not get into this, let's just go. It's not our business," Sharon said.
"Oh you can't leave now, the party's just started. 'Nsync has arrived! Anyway I've been meaning to talk to you," Justin said to Sharon.
"About WHAT exactly?" Nick demanded more than asked.
"Its a private matter," Justin replied. He pulled Sharon by her arm to a more secluded section of the room, or at least a section where Nick wasn't in ear shot. Nick kept his eyes glued on them the entire time.
"What the fuck do you want?" Sharon asked.
"Well, you know ever since that night I've been thinking. You know, I slept with Brian's girl and all. It was no big deal, wasn't hard at all. She was an easy bitch. I figure I may as well complete the circle of Backstreet girls. What do you say?" he asked putting his arm around her shoulders.
"I say you have one second to get away from me before I kick your ass AND run to the press with the story. What do YOU say?"
Justin looked shocked for a second, even scared. He composed himself soon enough when he realized he didn't look smug as usual.
"Hey it was just a suggestion. And let's face it. You're wasting your time with these losers. Look at you, what're you doing with an imbecile like Nick Carter? Its time you moved on to bigger and better things. By this time next year no one will even remember who the Backstreet Boys are."
"I've heard enough, thanks. You keep telling yourself those things to keep yourself from worrying over your career at night when you try to sleep. Maybe someday it'll work. If you'll excuse me now I have to go home to that imbecile who gets to fuck me every night. Who're you going home with?"
Justin didn't answer.
"Yeah that's what I thought. Good night." Sharon walked back to Nick, hoping she wasn't being followed by an irate Justin. Luckily he slinked off to his 'Nsync buddies after being humiliated.
"What was that all about? I saw him put his arm around you. Give me the word and I'll fucking tear him apart," Nick said.
"Watch your potty mouth, Nick. It was nothing I couldn't handle. Come on we're leaving this place."
"Fine with me."
Nick and Sharon left the VIP room heading toward the exit of the club. As they walked by they saw Brian and Catey together on the dance floor, but not dancing. They looked as if they were having a rather serious conversation.
"Should we stop to see what's going on?" Nick offered,
"Hell no, I couldn't care less about their relationship. I just want to go to bed. Come on!"
"Ok, ok. Let's go." They left the club without looking back.
VIP Room****************
"Justin are you gonna let her talk to you like that? She's nothing but a Backstreet groupie. She's a fuckin whore," Joey said to Justin trying to calm him down.
"I don't know, that entire group just gives me the creeps. They bug me for some reason. I'm not gonna let her get away with it, or that fag Nick Carter. None of those Backstreet Boys should be dating girls like that. And I know what I can do to stop it." Without another word Justin walked out onto the dance floor. He looked around for a while until he saw what he was looking for.
"Hey Brian, how're you feelin tonight buddy?" Justin said, patting Brian on the back.
"Oh...hey. Listen we're kind of busy here, having a conversation. Do you mind?"
Justin noticed that both Brian and Catey looked very serious. Catey also looked a bit frightened. He realized this was the perfect opportunity to execute his plan.
"Yeah sure I'll leave you alone. But first I think there's something you'd like to hear. Some interesting news about your girl Catey here and myself."
