"She's our opening act?" I asked Kevin bewildered.
"Yeah she is" he replied and turned his attention back to the girl on the stage wiggling her hips and making exaggerated moves.
"Why didn't we just get some Australian group?" I then questioned.
"She was here for promo and she's signed to the same label as us... you know the rest" he answered thoughtfully.
"Oh ok" I said and walked up the aisle to where all the rest of the guys were sitting. Sarah looked up at me and motioned for me to come sit next to her.
"She's good" she whispered.
"Yup she sure is" I retorted making Brian laugh in amusement.
"So how are you?" Sarah asked me.
"Well honestly, I'm doin pretty good..."
"Hahaha... well looks to me like you are in need of some help in getting over Mr. Carter" she snickered.
"Oh don't even think of going there!" I laughed.
"Come on, I bet I could set you up with some guy"
"No way... Sarah, I mean come on, ever since when do I go out with just some guy?... And you know it's not right for me to go out yet"
"Mich... think about it... when will you ever be ready again after Nick... it's been like almost a month already, and you say it's not right."
I looked away and sighed.
"Yeah, I know... soon..."
"Hey check out the action on stage" Brian exclaimed, interrupting my thoughts. Both Sarah and I instantly turned our attention to the centre stage.
"Oh my god" I muttered.
Mandy, our opening act had taken Nick up on stage and was dancing for him. Nick was uneasily looking at the ground as she sang her seductive bridge. His face bright red.
"Oh my god" I repeated.
"Poor thing" Sarah said.
"How did she get him up there?" Sarah then asked Brian who was bopping his head.
"Well, Jane was calling Nick backstage for some reason and he cut across the stage so Mandy grabbed him" he chuckled.
"Look out Nick" AJ boomed as everyone laughed.
