Our sole purpose is to praise and worship God our Father and Jesus Christ our Redeemer. To see hearts and lives changed. And if we reach only one along our way, just that one will be worth it all.
1. We are called to be different and set apart from the world. Romans 12:2- And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.1Peter 1: 15 & 16-But as he which is hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
2. To bring revival. Psalm 85: 6 & 7- Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? Show us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.
3. To give people a message of hope. John 3:16- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
4. To uplift God. Psalm 9:2- I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High. Psalm 70: 4- Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5. To use my talent for God. Psalm 33:3- Sing unto him a new song: play skillfully with a loud noise. 1Corinthians 14:10- There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices, in the world, and none of them is without signification.
6. To show the light of Jesus. Isaiah 9:2- The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
7. To show who Jesus is and help them establish a real and personal relationship with their Creator. John 14: 6- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.Proverbs 18:24- A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: And there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
