Week One:

Hello everybody out there in MTV land! Glad you surfed in, check back here often to see what's up with this crazy-ass tour.

Day One. San Diego, RIMAC arena. It was fun to start a tour in S.D. We usually have a huge guest list there, (people from L.A. come down too) and it was packed. There were some good old friends we saw, and I visited with some family as well. We met up with ORGY for the first time.

Day Two. Bakersfield. Today we shot hoops with ORGY (Jay is pretty good). No twisted ankles -- that's a good thing. We played on the main floor in between soundchecks. It was cool getting to know everybody that way.

Week Two:

Day Four. Oregon State University. We were lucky enough to get good weather today. Sound check was going to be later than usual, so Stan and I went to a local golf course and played a couple holes of golf. We had to be back at four, for interviews. We made it back on time, but, alas, they were canceled! Anyway, it was an early gig, and I had a good show. The crowd pumped me up. We split afterward and boarded a rock star G2 plane -- let me tell you, this plane is psycho, not the kind of aircraft you fly everyday -- maybe Kevin Costner or Tom Hanks, but not us. Anyway, we needed it to get to Burbank 'cause we were taping The Tonight Show with Jay Leno the following day.

Day Six. RENO. GAMBLING! I didn't loose any money, because I didn't have time to do it... Anyways, the crowd was insane, really into it, they got us going and didn't let us up the whole night... Leno was a trip you know, considering how far we've come and where we've come from. It's just weird, I don't know if I'll ever get used to it.

Week Three:

It was Ryan's birthday last week. Mark was very cool and gave Ryan a shout out during the show. Then we partied all night on the bus. Needless to say, everyone woke up the next day needing some time to recover. The tour has been great so far. It's just cool that two very different bands are in the same tour. We definitely have the same energy, just a different vibe.

Last night we played South Dakota. Right before the show, we all got massages and body adjustments. They had professionals waiting for us when we arrived. It was just what we all needed.

Week Four:

Hey, what's up it's Murf --

Tonite was crazy because we had to fly in from San Jose (we played with the Rolling Stones last night!!) and zip to the venue. It was totally rockstar cheesy -- we went from the plane to the van to the stage! I mean, we literally ran onto the stage. We were extremely tired from all the traveling we'd been doing the last few days, but the crowd was amazing -- they gave us a ton of adrenaline, they were totally into it.

We didn't get to see Orgy, but it looks like they slew the crowd from the sound of their reaction from Mark's shout-out. A few new pictures from me and my MTV Online homey Robbie to show you, so check it out. Names have been changed to protect the innocent!

Thanks to all the people who came to the MTV Campus Invasion tour. Hopefully we'll see you all soon.

Week Five:

The tour is finally into its groove -- the two bands are finally hangin' out together and partying together, the way touring ought to be. We have had back to back to back schools, so we are all seeing each other every day. Alas, the partying has reached a state of decadence. The Baltimore show was out of control, which is the way we like it. The night before last the craziest thing happened. We were in the middle of a song and all of a sudden everything just died out -- lights, audio, everything went dead. Amir, Bobby and I hung out on stage and chilled with the audience in the black out. We have the coolest fans. Everyone just rolled with the punches. I had a great day off yesterday in NYC. Drew University is only 40 minutes from Manhattan, so we all had a chance to relax. Six more schools to go. See you out there.

Ryan (from Orgy)

Week Six:

I cannot believe that the tour is over! Where did the other 20 schools go? Tonight was unbelievable!! People were so energized here tonight. Orgy did a mind-blowing cover of "Every Morning" during their set as their tribute to us for the last show. During our show we brought out all the Orgy guys onstage and gave them a salute. This tour has been so incredible. Everyone got along so well. We all had so say goodbye tonight. Orgy and Sugar Ray had a moment of solitude together. We kicked everyone out of the dressing room and we shared a toast. Thank you guys over there at MTV -- Campus Invasion rocked!! Check out some of Rob's (some MTV guy) photos of the last night. We're headin' out tomorrow to shoot a new video, and we're on tour this summer with the Goo Goo Dolls. Hope to see all of you out there soon.
