For Queen I'm doing a brief time line. This way it won't take as long to read as my Styx site and I can keep things in order easily. 1973 Queen's first worldwide single Keep Yourself Alive is released.

1975 A Night At the Opera is released. Bohemian Rhapsody becomes the first Queen song to make the Top 10.

1981 David Bowie helps Queen produce Under Pressure from teh albumb Hot Space. The bass and piano tracks were later used in Vanilla Ice's Ice Ice Baby.

1984 Hammer to Fall from the album The Works is released as a single and went on to be used in the movie Highlander. The MTV-inspired Radio Ga Ga from The Works his number 16 in the USA and number 1 in 10 other countries.

1985 One Vision is released and used in the movie Iron Eagle.

1986 Who Wants to Live Forever, One Year of Love, and A Kind of Magic are released and featured in Highlander. A Kind of Magic hit number 1 in 35 countires.

1989 I Want It All and The Miracle are released. I Want It All reached number 3 in the UK.

1991 Freddie Mercury makes his last film performance in These are the Days of our Lives. Metallica records a cover of Stone Cold Crazy. Hollywood records sees its first Queen release with Headlong. And, I'm Going Slightly Mad hit number 1 in Hong Kong.

1992 Queen releases their 40th single in the UK, The Show Must Go On.
