why do all theses bands sound the same?

ok...I stumbled upon this back in November of 97...what I found was that alot of Christian bands sound like alot of Secular Bands...
for instance...the Tooth and Nail Artists, Stavesacre, sound exactly like the Upstate NY band, Withstand...here is a list of other bands that had this too...
Christian: / Non-Christian:
Zao (Old Stuff)/ One King Down (New Stuff)
Stavesacre / Withstand
Blindside / KoRn
(neve) (Ball Tounge)
MxPx / Less Than Jake
(Punk rawk show) (Just Like Frank)
Focused / One King Down (Old Stuff)
The Cootees / Nerf Herder
Crux / Blind Melon
Lament / My Dying Bride

why do THESE bands look the same?

...I also have found that alot of Christian Bands look the same as Secular Bands:
Focal Point's Suffering of the Masses cover art looks alot like One King Down's Bloodlust Revenge cover art...the Living Sacrifice logo...is written the same way that Burning Human's Logo is...The OC Supertones...the dress like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones...the name Zao sounds like Dio a stupid 80's metal band...and I don't know if everyone else caught it...but the Band Frodus reminds my of DEVO...another 80's band...
I'm still looking for more similarities...

My conclusion...

...these were just my opinions...I'm not saying that anyone is copying off of anyone else...most of the bands that I listed were bands that I like...that's how I know that they sound and look alike...don't be offended by this page...I'm just expressing my thoughts...
