Announcement from this year's show...(as read in Wildwood)AVONWORTH HS INDOOR GUARDThe Avonworth School District and the Avonworth High School Band Boosters proudly present the 1999 Avonworth High School Indoor Guard. Band Director: Walter Street Guard Instructor/Designer: Brian Lincoln Asst. Guard Instructor: Adam Street Drill Design: Charles P. Meyette Set Design: Adam Street Unit Captains: Sarah Rogers, Jennifer Tkocs Co-Captains: Whitney Jones, Jessica Rufer There are 21 participants in this years indoor guard program, ranging from 7th to 12th grades in the Avonworth Jr/Sr High School. This season, the guard will be performing to "Skin", by New York Voices. The theme of this years production is based on the notion that no matter who you are, or what race you are, all people, regardless of ability, beliefs, or ethnic background, can work together to achieve a common goal. It's time for the world to stop judging people by their race. We are all one people. Skin is only "...the package you're in...". It's what's ins |
