Monday was our chance to play our catch up game.

We were 5 points behind the leaders, and 3 points behind second place with a game in hand.

So winning our game in hand last night, would have placed us 3rd in the table.

As it was, only six people showed up, (A minimum of 7 players is required under FIFA rules) so we defaulted and lost 2-0.

The referee gave us until 6:45 before he called it.

The really frustrating thing is that we played a friendly game against them and won.

Eric (The referee) played for us, with his buddy Danny and the 8 of us, beat the 11 from QNX by 5-2.

The shot count was about 20 - 4 in our favour.

I really believe we'd have at least got a tie if we'd had the extra man and been able to play, they were the worst team we've met this year by a long chalk and we played with a very strong defence. Jeremy Coulter went in goal and did a good job.

After the defeat, the table looks like this after 10 games (15 game season - 3 for a win, 1 for a tie).
