The Mr. Kim Scholarship
This scholarship will reward $100 for the best essay written following the following criterion
and standards of eligibility. You are to imagine a fictional character, Mr. Kim.
In your essay you should write about how great Mr. Kim is and how great the accomplishments
of the fictional character Mr. Kim are.
Who Is Mr. Kim?
- Pretty Much, you decide who Mr. Kim is. The boundaries of the essay are left open.
Mr. Kim may be you, someone else, or someone you imagine. He must be the protagonist of
the essay, and must be a person of greatness, and greatness being what you define
it to be, not us.
How is the winner chosen?
- The winning essay will be chosen based on qualities including but not limited to
writing ability, style, and content.
How do I enter?
Anything else I should know?
- Applicant must be a college bound junior or senior in High School. Essay must be
at least 250 words or more, there is no maximum limit. Make sure to include your name,
and two ways to contact you, make sure that at least one is OTHER THAN A LONG DISTANCE
NUMBER, may be email, postal mail, toll free voice mail, or any other possibility. Also
include your City and State, school, school district, age, and grade. Optionally at
your will include SAT/PSAT scores, SAT II's, GPA, however the preceding information
will NOT be a factor, but only used for purposes of statistics, survey, and curiosity.
The money will be payed directly to the college towards tuition or housing.
