FUTURE MEMORIES 9/19/97
Letter fading in her mind
And I don't know what to believe.
I want it to sink me, but just let me find,
The one thing I needed to leave.
Talk's become cheap,
And words hurt too much.
It's crumbling, and I'm too far away,
My heart speaks its mind, tries to scream out,
But sounds come much harder these days.
I've lost too much sleep,
Cried way too long,
Just thinking about?
Those stories they'll here in a song.
Memories remain, and fade out into,
Songs, I can no longer play.
I know what you want, and I just want you,
To know and believe what you say.
Memories remain,
But haunt me here still,
There's just nowhere to run from the pain.
