The Tim Better Known As Watto's only

indication as to how long he's been involved in music was

"Long enough".

He's a vocalist, along with being proficient in guitars

and percussion, and pre-Taxiride, worked at Westpac

by day and played gigs at night.

It would appear Watto is not much

of a sleeper, given his favourite city is New York,

on the grounds that "It sleeps about as much as I do".

(I hear ya! -Emma, chronic insomniac!)

He went to school with Kylie Minogue and had a

blue or two with her in the quadrangle. That'll be

an interesting reunion, that one!

I am of the opinion that should the music thing ever fall through

for Watto, a career in comedy would serve him well. Or,

alternatively, he could go into rap or R 'n' B. I was fortunate enough

to witness a freestyle rap churned out by Watto at one of

the recent Sydney gigs, and he was nothing short of unbelievable!

And with two brothers into that sort of music - I know!

When I commended him on this, he asked if perhaps he should

just give up the whole Taxiride thing and do that instead.

I told him that wasn't necessary! ;-)

I would also like to say that having met Watto, he is a lovely

guy and extremely friendly. He has great stage presence - does the

banter thing with the audience VERY well! And I think he is wonderfully

articulate - a quality I admire in a guy very much! All in all, I think

he's is a true champ!

But, for the love of God, DO NOT, I repeat,

DO NOT steal his shoes!
