Revelation has been playing the central Illinois area for over 10 years.

    Influenced by bands such as Motorhead, Black Sabbath, AC/DC etc.,

    we released our first album simply titled REVELATION.

    Our band has gone through many of the same types of problems

    that most bands have had to contend with such as alcohol, work schedules,

    marriage, and financial difficulties. Although the biggest problem we have had to deal with

    is LOCATION. Most venues in this area demand that a band play cover music

    or country and western...... We however would rather play original material.

    ("You guys don't play any Lynyrd Skynyrd?......Well then you ain't shit!")

    We have recently recorded "Built For Speed" by Motorhead to be included on an

    internet tribute album dubbed which is on Motorheads official website in RealAudio (The link is on the home page. )
