This is a true CD-R of 6 Stings in San Diego! My original tape to digital transfer copy that was reviewed here
died and luckily I was able to get it replaced with this version. After listening to this version, I decided not to redub
a new copy of my tape. Recorded live at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California on May 24, 1969.
This is an excellent show falling into a solid A / A- in sound quality! What's nice about this is that the full show is presented here. For some unknown reason, Foxey Lady was left off the Official Release of the Stages box set
as it originally appeared on the Jimi Hendrix Concerts CD. I highly recommend this one! Jimi was in great form
on this night and I find myself popping this one in before the Stages edition as I want to hear the complete show.
I'm pretty sure this is a collector's edtion and is a great addition for anyone.
