Sad that Ozisoft isn't providing net access in New Zealand?

In November 2000, Dreamcast owners in New Zealand were shocked by the news that the long awaited Internet abilitys of their Dreamcasts would not be made available, ever. For compensation we were offered a free game, but they were either average to crap (Zombie Revenge, Fighting Force 2) or launch titles that almost everyone had (Sonic, Soul Calibur, Sega Rally 2. I got MSR and a controller out of them though - Sweet!) I for one couldn't stand the thought of not having one of the best features of the Dreamcast, so I got in touch with some of my contacts on the net and eventually came across a copy of the US Browser version 2.0! With the help of the Utopia Boot Disk, I finally got online with my Dreamcast and was fragging online with my US copy of quake 3 within minutes.

MY IDEA/GOAL

OK, I'll admit it. I've been a bit naughty: my US browser is a copied version, but I didn't actually know it would be until I received it and it came to me on a CD-R. A couple of days later it hit me: since it's on a CD-R, I can copy it for Dreamcast owners, so they can get online too! After advertising on the Dreamcast.com.au and gameplanet.co.nz forums and receiving countless emails, I decided to start this site up so people could access all the info they needed to get to obtain a US Browser in New Zealand, and experience the greatness that is Quake 3 online. Heck, now all you Sonic Adventure owners can get to the SA homepage too!

Basically, if you want a copy of the US Browser for your Dreamcast, email me at my address at the bottom of this page. Then you'll need to send a blank CD (or 2 if you need a boot disk as well) to me. I'll give my address to you via email once you've emailed me with a request for a disk. You'll also need to send a self-addressed, paid courier bag so I can send it back. But apart from the CD and mailing costs, it's absolutely FREE! Now YOU can be surfing the net and playing online with your Dreamcast in New Zealand (sorry, I'm starting to sound a bit Infomercial-ish). If this sounds good to you, what are you waiting for?
