Okay, here's the first topic:

The Crap that is Final Fantasy 7

Okay, so why is this crap? It lacks. In everything. Well, almost everything. The art is great for a Playstation game. The game itself, on the other hand, was incomplete. Now, don't get me wrong, 'cause the first disc was a masterpiece... but the rest is crap. The storyline falls off drastically after the awesome FMV of the first disc. The ending was a spectacular show of animation, but it ended waaaaaay too early, leaving us with a bad taste. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then just beat it, it's not that hard. The music is repetitive, although the battle with Sephiroth has the best music in any PSX game I've heard. They rushed the game before it was done. Now, if they had stuck with NINTENDO like they should have, and waited until the game was absolutely perfect, then I wouldn't be p'oed. They should have done everything they planned to include, but they didn't. I don't blame the US developers for breaking away from Square to make N64 games. (Not that I'm ripping on Sony.) The game is also too damn linear. Final Fantasy has a history of being a relatively non-linear series, so this game is almost too stiff. I would have also liked to see more secret characters, weapons, spells, etc. like in FF3 (US) and FFV.

But dammit, I still like this game.

So, now you want to find me and hunt me down, huh?

Then e-mail me at this address: [email protected]

I'll post the "fun" remarks... if I want to...

Now, enjoy yourself.
