I am a professional (retired ) dulcimer maker with over 30 years' experience. There are two types of dulcimers, hammered and plucked, I make both.

I have made over 3000 instruments in my career, some for some very well known people,e.g., R.E.M., AEROSMITH, and others.

This is a picture of me demonstrating the hammered dulcimer at the Pioneer and Indian Fair at the Mississippi Crafts Center on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Ridgeland, Ms. I am all decked out in my 1800's outfit.
