There hasn't been too many installments of this Newsletter because the homepage has been super busy. With the installment of real audio, and wav files, the Shoe have been eager to let the world hear them. Thanx to special representatives at starvoice for putting up the RealAudio, and building the soon to be presented Shoeman wall. The realaudio demo is only one file to date, but will be converted later, per song.
And now for the bad news:
There will be no silverstock.
As reported by several Silver Heights students (our very own Alan is one), it has been cancelled for the following reason:
"Well, there was this thing that the teachers held called 'Shakespeare day' and there wasn't a very good turn-out.. 250 people showed up instead of the expected 800. And so the teachers said 'fine. you don't support us, and we won't support you'. So it's really cancelled. How many students are actually going to go to this function? I think 200 is a good turnout!"
We are very dissapointed to say so, and sorry for any inconvenience this has caused thank you
