Our First Night

From the first time I talked to him
I knew some how he was the one
Long talks about everything imaginable
Long thoughts about the same

Months went by with us thinking about eachother
..... wondering what it would be like to be together
We came to the conclusion of the same extreme feelings
Was it finally time to meet one another?

Walking towards eachother in the cold winter night
Feelings flowing, thoughts wondering if it was right
"Is that you?" he said
"Yes, it's me" I replied almost frightened as if something were to happen

Walking together towards his house was great
A time to look and evaluate
Caring about nothing but of who he was inside
What might he be thinking?

The night went on -- talking and looking
What a great feeling I would get when thinking about him
I knew it would be there forever
I wanted him to be here forever

The night was over and time to go home
Opening the car door for me, something no one has ever done before
Parents were in the front, us in the back
Secretly holding hands -- I wanted to stay in that perfect moment

Playing it smoth, we said out good-byes as if nothing was between us
We'd talk to eachother when he got back home
And tell eachother  about the night
It was clear to me -- I wanted him and only him

My first and only love is what he is
Meaning too much to me to describe
Too many feelings -- not enough time
My dear Sun, I  need you to know
I love you.
