Robbie Williams

Robbie was born at: 13-02-1974

His full name is : Robert Peter Maxime Williams                            

When Robbie was only 16 years old, he did auditions to join the popgroup Take That. he was one out of the 1500 other boys. Nigel Martin Smith, Take That's manager, chose him to be the 5th lad of the band. The other 4 members were: Mark Owen, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Gary Barlow.

They had a lot of succes with the band and everyone thought that there were no  problems, until july the 17th 1995, when Robbie left the band. He did this because he wanted to be "free" again, he wanted to do things himself etc. This didn't work out in the beginning, he felt himelf "too free". But Rob is a fighter, so he solved out his problems and started to make his first damn good album called : Life Thru A Lens. Before this, he released one cover-song of George Micheal's  Freedom. This album became a very big succes and Rob worked so hard to make it even a bigger succes.

After this, he made his second, also damn good album, called: I've Been Expecting You. And ofcourse, thanx to Rob's hard workin' this became a second huge succes.

At the moment he is in the US, there he is promoting his album : The Ego Has Landed, which is an US and Canadian release only and he is doing great!.

Robbie Williams is a big name in the music industry at the moment, and I think there are a lot of people who didn't expect him to get this far....but he did, and he can be very proud of himself!!
