MP3's

A lot of People are probably wondering what a mp3 is well i can tell you what i know. They are Wav Files that have been compressed to a ratio of 12 Times. For Example

12MB Wav File Converts to 1MB MP3

24Mb Wav File Converts to 2MB MP3

48MB Wav File Converts to 4MB MP3

There are a different formats for mpeg layer 3 files. The Highest quality is 44100khz and 128bps which has been converted from a 44100khz 16bps Wav File. As the bitrate goes down so does the quality, but in return the file is smaller. It is best that no Mpeg file is smaller than 22050hkz and 112bps so that it can retain its quality.

The most important thing that you need for MP3's is a Mpeg player.The best one that i have found is Winamp.You can download DownloadWinamp from me. Or you Can go to Winamp Review.

A good thing to have when you want to get more mp3's is a good Ftp Program, the one i use is WsFtp Pro very good for file transfers.After you get one of these you can find a good Ftp and Download straight from a server. I myself have gathered half of mp3's from differents seervers!!

There is another way of getting mp3's, it is time consuming but worth it. One can make Mp3's with a good cd ripper or a wav editor and then convert them to MP3's. One such program i use it convert use it a Mp3 compresser that is the fastest i have found on the net!!It is a freeware Program so you can Download From me.
