Part 14
"What's... I dunno what to say... I mean..." Krystle's eyes went cold. A.J stood in front of her with his arms crossed. He starred at the sheet for nearly an hour before he spoke. "What do you want to do about this Krys?" He looked her steadily in the eyes. She was near tears, but held them off as best she could. Trying to change the subject she said, "Let's go for a jog... clear our minds... Start over..." A.J looked at her, "You sure about this Krys?" "Ya... I mean... If I let this bother me... it's gonna get worse..." Inside, she was more scared then anything. "Okay then... let's go," A.J said.

~ 1 Hour Later ~

"Wow... you're pretty quick Krys!" A.J said wiping his face with a towel. "You can say that... Or maybe you're just slowing down old man..." she said laughing. She had forgotten about everything that had happened that morning. When they had walked in, they could hear talking coming from the den. As they moved in closer, they saw Kevin, Jennie, Sandra and Brian. "Sandra!" Krystle yelled, pulling her in for a hug. "Krys... Oh my God... How are you?" The girls went on with their conversation. "Umm... Bri... Kev... Can I talk to you guys upstairs?" A.J asked with a serious tone of voice. They both got up and followed him to his bedroom. "What is it Bone... Is something wrong?" Brian said, following him in. "This is what's wrong!" A.J snapped back. He went over to the nightstand, took the sheet of paper and handed it to them. As they read it, their eyes widened, "Is this a joke or something? Who would write this junk?" Kevin asked almost yelling. "Sshhh...." A.J started, "I don't want Krystle to hear." "You mean, she doesn't know about this?" Kevin asked in a whisper, "Ya she does... but she seems to have forgotten about it... and I don't want her getting into a nervous wreck... she can't handle this now." A.J had a concerned look on his face. "So what are we gonna do... I mean. I'll do anything to help!" Brian said rubbing his forehead. "I'm not sure yet... but we got to do this without police... you know the media... they'll be all over our ass in 10 minutes." A.J said still being serious.

~ 10 minutes later ~

"A.J.. A.J... Come here for a sec!" Krystle yelled from the bottom of the stairs. "What is it?" he asked almost tripping down them. "Umm... me and Sandra were planning on going to watch a movie... so can I have the keys to the car?" she asked with a childish smile. Jennie and Kevin were planning on going out again that night. They seemed to be getting pretty close. "Krys... I dunno if you should..." he was cut off by Sandra, "Come on Bone... just tonight... A girls night out... Come on!" "Brian.. You can go home... I'll drop her home when it's done... and everything os just perfect... so what do ya say?" she asked in a giddy voice. A.J couldn't resist. This was one of the few times he had seen her this happy. "Fine," he said, passing her the keys.... "Just be careful!" he yelled as Krystle walked out the door. "Bye babe!" Brian said, giving Sandra a kiss before she left. "Bye B... love you!" she said shutting the door.

~ 2 hours later ~

"Krys... that was the saddest movie I had ever seen." Sandra said as she wiped her face. "I know... I heard about this movie and I was like, 'A Second Chance' but it turned out to be really good!" Krystle said putting her hands in her pocket, "Ok Sandra, let's get you home to B-rok before he throw a fit!" Both girls laughed as they walked to the car. As they drove off, they talked about what had happened in the past year. Before they knew it, they were at Brian's house. "Bye Krys... I'll call you tomorrow okay?" she said. "Ya. Sure... bye" she said pulling out of the driveway. On her way back to the house, she put on the cell phone, which A.J insisted, on her taking. She dialed his number. "Hello?" A.J answered. "Hey baby... I'm on my way home now." She said smiling into the phone. "Krys... have I told you how much I... Geez... hold up a second... there's someone one the other line." A.J said clicking to the other line, "Hello!" he said.... There was only breathing, "HELLO!" he said again, this time even louder... finally someone spoke, "You picked her over me A.J... You picked that screwed up kid... and pushed me aside." The voice said to him, "Lisa?" A.J said with confusion in his eyes, "How could you A.J... All the things I could have given you... And you threw it away for a low life bitch!" she yelled into the phone. A.J was getting upset, "Lisa... What's gotten into you... You said we could still be..." he was cut off, "I'm sorry A.J... Three's a crowd... And one of us just has to go... and hey...it looks like, little, poor, old Krystle driving all by herself.... You wouldn't want her to get hurt now...would you!" Lisa said with a wicked laugh, "You bitch... if you touch her I'll..." he was cut off again, "It's to late A.J... Remember promises last forever... until someone else comes along!" the phone died out right after that. A.J in a frenzy, clicked onto the other line, "Krystle..." no one answered, "Krystle" he yelled, "What...must you scream so loud!" she said squinting her eyes. A.J didn't give her much time to talk, "Krys... Lisa...it's Lisa...She's..." A.J started, "What are you talking about A.J... I'm gonna be home in like 10 minutes... You can tell me this..." she was cut off. "No... Krys... She's the one...the letter...and she knows your driving alone...and... Where are you... what street...oh my god..." A.J was pacing the room. Krystle cried hard as she held the phone, "I'm at Martin Grove and HiWay 407...A.J... Oh my god...I'm so scared.... Just then, A.J could hear screeching noises. He yelled into the phone, "Krystle...Baby...are you there..." his eyes went cold. Quickly, he cut off the phone, something he so desperately did not want to do, to dial 911. "911 can I help you!" a lady said over the phone. "I need a ambulance...please...I...Umm.. Come on A.J... Think... I need one at Martin grove and HiWay 407.... There...there was an accident..." he said crying out loud.... He cut off the phone quickly, ran out side and took the other car out of the garage and sped away.
Krystle lay lifeless in the car. At this point she wasn't breathing. Lisa walked close up to the driver's window. "I'm sorry honey... But three is definitely a crowd." She said, wiping the blood off of her lip. She walked back to her car, which was surprisingly not badly damaged, and drove away. As Krystle lay there struggling to breathe...the sounds of ambulances flourished the streets. Is she going to make it???
