Part 4
"Krys...can... can I talk to you?" A.J said walking in.
"Please A.J... Leave me alone..." Krystle said in a whisper.
"I need to make things right with us Krys." He said as he came closer to
her.
"So putting me here is doing what for me A.J." she snapped back.
"It's going to make you better Krys."
"I don't want to be here. I don't want to get better... Please A.J...
You know how I am in closed places...Please," she said turning to him.
This was the first time he had seen how much she was crying.
"Ya... umm.. I'll get you out of here... but I want you to stay with me
at..."
"No... You can't ask me to do that... I'll be fine on my own..."
"Don't you even say that," he said interrupting her, "Look what you've
done to yourself...You almost died last night." He said in a whisper.
"Just get me out of here..." he tears came down again.
'This is all my fault' A.J said to himself. He looked at her cry
buckled down to the bed.
'This isn't right...She's gotta get out of here' A.J said to himself
leaving the room.
"Please A.J... Don't leave me here...A.J!!" Krystle cried out as he shut
the door.
'Is he walking out on me again?' she asked herself. She looked over at
her jacket that hung on the rack a few meters in front of her.
'If I could just get my pills... Everything would be okay..." The
crying had tired her out and soon she drifted off to sleep.
~ One Hour Later ~
"Krys... Krys... Wake up..." Came A.J's voice as he shook her. Krystle
opened her eyes. Something was different. Her hands and feet weren't
tied down now, and there were no bright lights to blind her.
"I better not be where I think I am?" she said to A.J.
"Now Krys... listen to me... I just want..."
"I don't care what you want okay?" she snapped back, "I am sick and
tired of hearing what you want... what about me A.J... You always get
to say what you want... What about me... I have feelings you know...
You hurt them a long time ago, and you know what... there still
hurting.. So don't you tell me what you want.... A.J... I want to get
out of here now, and your not going to stop me..." Krystle said. Her
voice was unbalanced as she spoke. A.J just looked at her with wide
eyes.
'She's right A.J... And you know it... You left her...' he said to
himself. As he looked up from his thinking, he heard the door shut
behind him. A.J just sat there and tried to figure out what to do.
'Krystle...she doesn't want me... Lisa loves me... who do I love? Jesus,
A.J...You're one screwed up kid' he said to himself as he sat on the
side of the bed holding his head.
Krystle stormed out of the front door.
"Where the hell am I?" she said to herself.
"Why'd he have to come back... Why now? Why didn't he just leave me
alone... he doesn't even love me anymore...So why the hell won't he
leave me alone." She said out loud. She began to walk down the
sidewalk, not knowing where she was going. She didn't care. Just as
long as she got far away from him...
"What the hell am I still doing here?" A.J asked himself. "She's alone
out there in the dark...And her...Oh shit.... Her pills are still in her
pocket...Shit...." A.J said grabbing his coat and running out the door.
Krystle stuck her hand in her pocket and pulled out the bottle of
pills. Her hands were shaky as she opened the cap.
"Oh shit... your so stupid Krystle..." she said to herself as the bottle
dropped to the floor, spilling the 4 pills she had left. She bent down
to pick them up. She picked them up and then stood straight.
"See Krys.. I told you... A.J hates you... And your all alone." Her eyes
began to water....
"I don't need anyone." She said putting the first pill in her mouth.
"KRYS... NO... DON'T DO IT.... I... I" A.J started to say as he ran to
her...
"You what A.J... Give me one good reason why I shouldn't... give me one
good reason why I should just drop these right now.... Give me one
reason why you want me to stay here with you.... Cause you know what..
A.J.. I lost hope... I got no one here... No one loves me... No one
cares about me.... I'm alone A.J... I'm alone... and this is my only
way out.. Ok... So why don't you and everyone else just butt out..."
Krystle said as her tears came down hard. She turned to walk away when
A.J's voice stopped her,
"You got me Krys..." he said in a loud voice.... The rain started to
come down.
"You got me Krys...," he said again. Krystle cried harder. Still
facing the other way, A.J came up to her... "Krys.. I'll be here for
you..." His eyes spilled over in tears as they both looked into each
others eyes as the ran came down harder...
