HISTORY

The band LynX was created in the summer of 1998 and the number of the members were two. Our name was Defender at that time. Since then have we played o lot of things but no other members had joined the band. We compose our own songs and dont´t play much covers, if we play covers we play mostely from: Iced Earth, Iron Maiden, Six Feet Under mm. The winter of 99 - 00 is the most creative time of our band, and that was the time of our name change, inclusive the summer of 98.

STYLE

We have a mixture of many music styles but almost around the hardrock genre. We play much ballads too, and compose some harmonics with the guitar and drums. If we don´t play music we listen to it and sitting in front of our computers with photoshop or the World Wide Web.

MATERIAL

Martin uses Ibanez RG-series and a Fendercopy named Cort guitars, Fender 1,2mm and Dunlop 1,5 plectrums, Peavy Rage 158 amplifier, Zoom 505 Guitar effectpedal.

Daniel uses Pearl Export Series hardware and Tama Snare Drum, a Ufip crash ride and Paiste cymbals, Pearl Basspedal, Paiste Power Hi-hat 14" Top, Vic Firth Extreme 5A and Vic Firth American Classic 5A drumsticks.

We uses Nokia Dynamic LD-110 Imp Microphones.
