Vagten
This is the gatehouse at BRCSS. Later I should spend many looong hours in there (and some weekends too), on 24 hour watch-duty.

Ruinbyen #1
This is some of the training area, with the ruin-city in the background.

Ruinbyen #2
This is the ruin-city where we trained all sorts of rescue. You can just see the end of the labyrinth in the background. It's a long dark tunnel, with all kind of obstacles that we crawled through as a part of the firefighter training.

Automobilsprøjten
Here's the fireengine used for some training and for the real turnouts. A turnout always consists of 3 vehicles, a fireengine, a truck with extra hoses and a truck carrying a large watertank.

Stuen
Here's a typical room at the rescue-center. 12 men lived in here.

Vand
This is the first time we tried the different nozzles.

Røgdykker træning
Here we trained for the first time with full firefighting equipment on. At the same time we got measured how fast we spend our air when performing tough physical work, something that you need to know if you should be called out to a real fire.

Brandhus #1
The Firehouse in Ladby (small village outside Naestved) were we trained in fighting in-house fires.

Brandhus #2
Training in entering and extinguishing in multiple rooms in the Firehouse. Inside the Firehouse there's several large pans with burning gasoline/diesel mixture that has to be put out. The temperature inside can reach 4-500 degress celsius (700-900 degrees fahrenheit) at headlevel, and up to 800 degrees (1400 degrees fahrenheit) at ceiling level.

The fire-platoon is on night exercise in the ghost-town in Ladby

Flugtvej 2
The fire-platoon is training to escape through the flames.

Flugtvej 3
Another picture of the fire-platoons night exercise.

Matved
Something that was done every week, was maintenance of vehicles and equipment. All vehicles should be checked, and washed, and the equipment on the vehicles was to be counted, and cleaned/fixed.

Spe'ere på tur
This is the half of my signal/special-platoon, under a drive by map and coordinates exercise.

Spe'ere i marken
Half a special-platoon has established an advanced commandpost during one of the final large drills.
