phil selway after touring
with a small travelling amateur dramatics troupe for most of
1997, is, thankfully, back with Radiohead. As is apparent from
the cut of his trousers, he plays the drums in the band. His one
weakness is his jugular vein in his neck. Phil used to play the
guitar, until he found out what they're really made of.
Phil's entire house is on a gigantic turntable, as he gets bored quickly of the same view out of his window. Consequently, he is the only member of the band to have enjoyed Alton Towers. Phil still owns a Soda-Stream from the 80's, and serves inferior home-brewed cola from it which is why the band frequently refuse to go to his house for drinks. Phil usually plays with the red army in Stratego.
Phil did some voice overs for a muesli commercial two years ago ("Lying in the bar with my drip feed on, talking to my girlfriend, waiting for a bowl of Alpen") when The Bends had just been released, and has never told anyone about it since. Phil never remembers recording 'Ripcord', and suspects Thom of having a joke, and drafting in a spare drummer while he lay chloroformed.
Phil can cook a mean curry, but can't get meringues to come out right - a source of constant taunting from Colin.
