You've been running yeah yeah for about 18 months now - what was yr main initial reason getting the mai order up and running?
I'd been saving for a while and thought i should do something good with my money. I thought it was pretty dumb that spiral was the only distro around so i thought i'd start one. Now i've got no money and a room i can't move in - (Mrs VB loves it!!!)

How has the reaction been to yeah yeah and more recently the Rabbit Records comp that you and mat have just (finally - joking) put out?
It's been good. It's been worth it just for the people i've met. The comp is doing good as well, hopefully we can sell enough to do another one.

Is your work with Rabbit to be a continued thing or was it just a once off?
I think it will be continued but you'd have to ask mat, he's the boss.

Fave record at present?
Turbonegro - Apocolypse Dudes.

I believe yr planning a vinyl label too, which may feature one certain ace perth band at present in melbourne. Is that still going ahead?
Yeah I really wanna get that going, once again money is a problem. Hopefully i can get a mach pelican 7" out and then maybe one with love camp 7. Unsane are interested, that would be killer.

The ultimate show for you would feature which bands/entertainers etc.
Rocket from the Crypt, Jawbreaker, The Jesus Lizard, New Bomb Turks, Nashville Pussy, Wrestling.

Bert Newton, the oval headed wonderboy, approaches you in the street and says "hey, yr the hip dude on that happening show Breakers aren't you?" What do you do?
I think i would play "roshambo" with him and kick him in the balls. i saw him once in melbourne airport and laughed my ass off. He's a fucking weird looking guy.

Best show you've seen and why?
I wouldn't pick just one, my favourites would be *melvins @ ozone *rftc @prince of wales *jesus lizard (all 3 shows) *hardons (fairwell shows) *unsane @ grosvenor *Entombed @ grosvenor (metal!) *fugazi (both shows)

Why the name yeah yeah?
Because two of my hereos say it, greg mathews and magoo!

Has the inclusion of mat tmt been a help or hinderance (i hear he's kinda slack) to the world domination plans of yeah yeah
Mat sucks! he's always stealing my stuff and never does what i tell him. Everytime i see him he's shitfaced drunk trying to do his nude bellydances, hes a fucking embarrasment!

So what's instore for the future of yeah yeah, rabbit recs, and cobber (the vinyl label?)
Hopefully get bigger and better. It would be great to put out releases more often and get the vinyl thing up and running. I wanna try and help bring bands over here as well.
