Resolution no. 0427, of 5 of March of 1999

It discriminates the activities of the Engineer of Control and Automation

The Federal Advice of Engineering, Architecture and Agronomy, in the use of the attributions that confers it letter "f" of Art. 27 of Law 5,194, of 24 of December of 1996,

Considering that the Art. 7o. of the Law no. 5,194/66 mentions the professional activities to it of the engineer, the architect and the engineer-agronomist in generic terms,

Considering the necessity to discriminate the activities of the different professional modalities of Engineering, Architecture and Agronomy, for ends of fiscalization of its professional exercise;

Considering Portaria no. 1,694, of 5 of December of 1994, the Ministry of State of the Education and the Sport, published in the D.O.U. of 12 of December of 1994, it decides:

Art. 1. - It competes to the Engineer of Control and Automation, the performance of activities 01 the 18 of the Art. first of the Resolution no. 218, of 29 of June of 1973 of the CONFEA, as for the control and automation of equipment, processes, units and systems of production, its similar services and correlatos.

Art. 2. - the constant disposals of 25 Art. and its only paragraph of the Resolution Are applied it the present resolution no. 218, of 29 of June of 1973, the CONFEA.

Art. 3. - As established in the Art. first of Portaria 1,694/94 - MEC, the Engineering of Control and Automation are a specific qualification, that had origin in the electric and mechanical areas of the course of Engineering, based on the contents of the specific sets of substances of general, constant professional formation also in the related one Would carry.

Only paragraph - while Resolution 48/76 will not be modified - MEC, introducing this new area of qualification, the Engineers of Control and Automation will integrate the group or category of engineering, modality electrician, foreseen in item II, letter "", of the Art. 8o., resolution 335, 27 of October of 1984, the CONFEA.

Art. 4. - the present resolution will enter in vigor in the date of its publication.

Art. 5. - the disposals in the opposite Are revoked.
