Nicolas Caballero

         He  was Born in Asunción March 20 1949. He/she studied harp with their father starting from the 3 years of age, ending up becoming one of the biggest virtuosos in the instrument. It debuted in 1954 in a music festival next to the trio The Panchos, Pedro Vargas and other, waking up interest for their virtusismo and their short age.

          He  was integral of the trio Paraguay and Tropical with its father Isidro Caballero, Adolfo Duarte and Lauro Romero. In 1960 he/she was integrated to The Flats and in 1962 it traveled to Russia where it participated of an international festival obtaining the first prize. In 1965 it acted in The Vatican for the Papa Pablo I SAW. In 1974 it was professor of harp of the Municipal Conservatory of Music of Asunción, and in 1975 it traveled to Spain where he settled down until the present. It traveled Europe, Asia and Africa like integral of different groupings.

            Among its compositions stands out: Bells of Easter, Flight of the Hummingbird. He is author of pieces for harp and symphonic orchestra.
