Andyoober's exam revision tips (as posted on the ooberman message board)
Once you've got the syllabus partially absorbed, your crib sheets developing and your reward system worked out, i reckon those unfortunate enough to have exams this summer should get some past exam papers. (They really work).
Questions can be quite similar every year (well they were in what I did) and it gave me confidence as I walked into my Geography A-level exam, half knowing what to expect.
One thing to practice is clock watching. Work out where you should be in a paper after a certain time during your bedroom practice exams as you get nearer the real thing.
Allow proportinate lengths of time for the marks available for questions and when the time's about up, get on with another question. You can then go back when you get to the end of the paper to mop up - plus your subconscious will be ready for whatever it was you may have been stuck on.
After your exams...beware. Stress does weird things to you, so don't try to second guess your destiny...you'll only underestimate yourself.
