Grading Scale:
A+ = This is the best an analog tape can get.  Either that or it's digital.  There is absolutely NO HISS, every member of the band comes out crystal clear.  If you close your eyes, you don't know if the tape is analog or digital.  No flaws whatsoever.  Perfect tape.  Or it's a perfect CD.  You WILL be satisfied with tapes that come from these.  I guarantee it.
A = Very little or no hiss.  Most real nice tapes fall under this category.  Every member comes out clear.  There may be one or two passable flaws in the tape or disc.
A- = Noticeable hiss, but not enough to detract from enjoyment of the show.  One member may be more prominent than the others (usually Trey), or one member may be less prominent (usually Mike).  Still a very listenable tape.
B+ = Hiss starts detracting from the music.  Recording levels may not have been set right, resulting in a very quiet or over loud tape.  With much bass/treble/mid adjusting, tape becomes listenable.
B = Lotsa hiss.  The band has a very muddy sound.  Not very listenable at all.
B- and lower = Piece of shit.  Don't even bother.  These are tapes collecting dust.

Updated whenever I get a new tape/cd.
