Eric Ragno |
Like Damir, Eric also moved to Los Angeles in 1991, in search of rock stardom. Damir and Eric found each other in the Summer of '93, and the two began rehearsing eight to twelve hours a week, in Shime's apartment. "That was a special summer - we would play all afternoon, and the room would turn orange, as the sun would start to fade. We were oblivious to the time...until the room inevitably went dark! Because we were communicating on a higher level - preparing for what was to come." |
Eric's father, like Damir's, was an accomplished guitarist in HIS homeland, of Jersey City, New Jersey. Eric's appreciation for the guitar, and team player mindset made him a natural partner in crime. "most of my heroes have always been guitar players...Steve Vai...Eddie Van Halen...my dad...and Shime is definitely one of the best players out there." |
With his diverse library of sounds, and animated live performance, Eric's reputation has made him an in-demand player.Since coming to LA, Eric has also worked with such notables as Live Nude Girls, Takara, Simon Wright, and Richard Black of Shark Island. |
He's also done a slew of one-off musical projects, including work as Music Director of a Hollywood play, and live shows with European pop star, Miko. However, "there's nothing like standing on stage with Shime, and watching him just go for it! He's a really great guy, and one of my closest friends." |
As the music, and the band's dynamic live shows evolved, Damir has opened up increasing space to showcase Eric's talent. "We try to paint a picture. And the subject is generally going to be the guitar - and you treat it that way. But, there's still a lot of room on the canvas - and that's mine!" |
