My Tribute To Owen Hart.....May You RIP Owen

We all miss you Owen

This is one thing I thought I would never have to do when I started to make this webpage. Owen Hart has always be a wrestler that I have Respected. The one thing I regret is that I never liked him and I blame that all on WWF on the fact that they scriped for him to be a bad-guy or a rule breaker. I can remember way back, when I was a kid. I was the biggest Blue Blazer fan. I still have the magizine with his interview in it. Back then I had no clue that he was the brother of Bret Hart. I just though of him as another cool wrestler.

Fans throughout the world shared a small portion of Owen's life through his various ring personas. But to know Owen Hart the human being was pure joy. Owen loved this business and lived to entertain both in, and out of the ring. He was a consummate performer and a legendary prankster. In the extended family of professional wrestlers respect does not come easily and is not taken lightly. Owen Hart had that respect.

I was one of the many people that saw the pay-per-view when Owen's accident happened. I thank the WWF for not showing any of pictures of Owen on his last few minutes alive. The next night WCW, a competor for ratings against WWF, mentioned about the accident and sent there condolences. I think that is the coolest thing I've ever seen WCW do. WWF also had plans to make a tribute to the life and times of Owen Hart. Many of the wrestlers and officals of the WWF gave there own special video tributes. Among the wrestlers: Mick Foley (Mankind, Dude Love, Cactus Jack), Jessie James, A close friend Jeff Jarret and Debra, Shane McMahon, and Pat Patterson to name a few. All of the wrestlers who had macthes that night wore O.H. armbands wicth simbolized the passing on. The most memorible moment of the night is when Jeff Jarret exicuted the Sharpshooter on Test. The Sharpshooter was the finishing move of Owen Hart. Another moment is when Stone Cold Steve Austin gave his tribute in his own special way.
