We asked Brian Littrell, of Backstreet Boys fame, to name an album
that changed his life. His answer? James Taylor's 1976 Greatest Hits.
"It's real music. It's what music used to be many years ago."
"Every song on that Greatest Hits CD is what I call timeless. You're
going to hear it in elevators, I'm going to hear those greatest songs
the rest of my life."
"And I enjoy hearing those songs. They're very simple."
"I love the way he writes, I like the way his voice sounds, and it's
not a whole bunch of hoopla."
"It's just music -- him playing a guitar. It's real, he's a real
person."
