(DLS)-Last year, AJ was invited to present an award at the Genesis Awards. He liked that experience so much that he didn't hesitate to accept the invitation for this year. The 17th
Annual Genesis Awards will be held on March 15, 2003, at the International Ballroon in the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in California.
This award show honors the media for including animal issues such as animal abuse in their programs. Without the media paying attention to the animals used for tests in labs, most
people wouldn't know about it. Their task of bringing awareness to these causes is extremely important, and they need the recognition for their good work.
AJ has always been an animal lover. He has three English Bulldogs at this moment: Daisy, Serenity, and Tank. His mother remembers that when he was a boy, he kept on bringing stray
cats at home. It's with pleasure that he will be attending this award show this year, as well as presenting one of the awards.
The Genesis Awards are usually taped, then they air on television, on Animal Planet Network. The airing date and time will be confirmed in the coming months.
On March 15, 2003, the schedule will be as follow:
5pm Cocktails (or in AJ's case, soft drink or water) and Red Carped Arrivals
6:30pm Gourmet Vegan Dinner
8pm Awards Presentation
