Hello!

I am home from the best day of my life so far! I'll start from the beginning and work my way through the whole 4 hours, cause I'm sure you all want to hear EVERY detail. :o) Buckle up, and here we go! Stacey (the girl I went with) and I arrived in the city at 7:35, registration was to start at 7:45. We stood in the rain for about 15 minutes. During that time I ran to the window and looked inside where I could see Brian! I banged on the glass but he didn't hear, the ESPN zone girl put up a black shade so I couldn't do it again, oh well, I would be in soon enough. Pretty wet, we were let in. Everyone's invite was checked twice and we were given a bracelet and game card to play the arcade games with later. Then, we were seated. I was at table 14, which was RIGHT in front of where Brian and his Mommy and Daddy were sitting! After a small speech from Brandon (the HHC coordinator) Brian came walking down the 3 flights of stairs and into the room. He is SO gorgeous and I was SO close to him! He said he had a long list of things to do and he rolled out a roll of toilet paper, LMAO. (which some fan took and had him sign later, he informed us it was his first roll of TP he had signed in 10 years!) After thanking us, he said Leighanne couldn't come because she was advised not to fly by the Doctors. He then opened the floor for questions. The baby was originally due Dec 6th, but has been moved up to Thanksgiving. They are most likely going to name him Bailey Thomas, but they say they don't want to name him until they meet him :o) Brian says they have been on AOL looking up names (hmm Brian has AOL! LoL) He says the Boys have recorded 3 full songs with Nick and they plan to do more next year. He is happy for Nick and his solo career and said it worked out good because he wanted to stay home with the baby anyway. Nothing else really major was asked. After that, it was time for the Meet & Greet. the first group of tables (50 people) went to see Brian and the remaining ones had juice and coffee and then they switched. I was in the second group so I just prepped myself, LoL. Even though we all received an autographed pic of Bri, we were all able to hug him, talk to him, take a pic with him, and get one more thing autographed. While I was in line, I introduced myself to his mother and father. Jackie Littrell is THE nicest lady I have ever met in my life. I told her I loved her son and I had been waiting a long time to meet him and I was so excited. She said "Aww, Sweetie! Bless your heart!" and she gave me this big hug. She has the cutest accent and is so funny and happy and full of life :o) Brian's dad is great too, he was kind of quiet but very sweet. I took a pic with them :o) Then, it was my turn...Brandon had to give me a push cause I was just standing there, LoL. I walked slowly up to Brian and he said "good morning!" and I said "Hello," so soft he probably didn't hear me. I kind of just stood there until he walked up to me and said "Don't be nervous!" So I said, "I just need to tell you thank you, this is the best day of my life and it's all because of you!" he said "Aww thank you, honey!" THEN HE HUGGED ME. OmG the man is so beautiful up close. I didn't want to ever let him go and he rubbed my back, *sigh* I just remember being so warm in his hug, LoL. He then gestured to my invitation and said softly "You want me to sign it?" I nodded yet again, still not many words from me and thought the original plan was for me to tell him my name, he had it autographed before I could, LoL. I then gave him his thank you card (it's part of project Thank You, in my chat group, we give the boys simple cards that say "Thank You. -Your Fans) and they had all been thanked BUT him. So I said, "Have you ever gotten one of these before?" and He said "Nooo, I haven't, what is it?" and he kept trying to sign it! LoL, I kept pulling it away and he kept putting his sharpie on it. I must have said 4 times, "It's for you!" so then I tried to explain it to him and he looked horribly confused when I was done, mostly cause I was a babbling mess. I then explained again, slower and his face lit up. he said "That means so much to me, thank you!" next thing I know his arms are around me again and he keeps thanking me. Then, I just stood there, he's like "Thanks for coming," and I'm all staring at him, LOL. I walked away in a daze, but at least I didn't freak out! I'm so proud of myself! After that he auctioned off some things, some to just lucky people and some to bidders. One family bid $2000 on a hockey jersey of his and he was so moved he gave $500 out of his own pocket to help them pay for it. He hauls out this garbage bag (lol) of his clothes and just starts giving them out. I didn't get anything, but then again I'm not rich. After that we went to play games upstairs. I didn't play, just watched him play the fans in basketball, football, and video games :o) I snapped a pic right in his face too, LOL, I'm like sorry! He looked blinded but he was right there, I needed a pic. I spent a good deal of time talking to his parents who were just on the side with no one around them. They are just SO nice. I couldn't get over how short that whole family is, lol. Anyway, then we went and had breakfast and he sat next to me at his table so I couldn't eat, LoL. He did though and no one bugged him which was nice. It was mostly fans over the age of 20 so everyone was so calm, he walked through the crowd and no one grabbed him or anything. Just the pic flashes were going off in his eyes but he was so cute, posing for everyone's camera. While he ate, he called Leighanne and held up the phone so we could talk to her and say hi. He was returning to her right after it was over, not staying in NY. They then played a video of all he has done for the HHC and during it, his mother got very emotional because it had pics of him in the hospital as a child. She said it brought back a lot of memories and Brian was a little teary too. Finally, he auctioned off some more things, and said we had to go. However, he sang the most beautiful song accepella before he left. It's a new BSB song, and he said to pay attention to the lyrics...I tried to but his voice is just so beautiful I was in awe. I did remember some of the chrous and I think it's titled 'Love Saved The Best For Me' That was the only time I got teary. He went to sit behind some curtains just to sign for the people who won the auctions and on my way out, I stuck in my head and told him thanks again and that I loved him, LoL. he looked right at me and said "Bye bye! thanks so much again!" *dies* A private good-bye him made my day complete. I had a blast and the HHC is really a wonderful cause. it was the best $250 I ever spent and Brian was friendly, delightful and a pleasure to hang around for 4 hours. I still can't believe how close I was, LoL. Thank you to Brian, sahll he ever read this, and thanks to his family and the people involved with the HHC. You made my dream come ture! I hope you enjoyed my LONG story. :o)

Love,

Kat
