How they got together ?

After various episodes in their lives, faith fixed Bimboos together. Because of their similar and peculiar interest in computers they ended up in the same media course, Toijala-city, backyard of Finland. Because there was absolutely nothing else to do they started to jam together. And eventually Backyard Bimboos developed. They started out by throwing gigs in local pubs.

First tournee

August -99 girls decided to conquer Pirkanmaa after a couple of six-packs. They started from Viiala and in a week they were playing in Pirkkahalli, Tampere. Right from the beginning their tournee life was wild and stormy (and we are not talking about the weather now). BYB knew how to make audience crazy?

What's behind all this ?

?well of course bimboos' enormous need for publicity. They all have strong egos so the band has four leaders. None of them agrees to fade in to the background? These women don't have a clue about harmony.
