Justin and Scott originally started this band when Justin started to teach Scott how to play guitar. Well, about a year later they decided that since they had played together for so long, and had gotten along so well, to start looking for other band members. Scott's brother had just started playing bass, so they picked him up nice and quick. Still Learning, but nice flawless play. They found their first singer one day as a joke at a friend's house asking if any of their friend's buddies could sing Rammstein (which would be a rarity). Sure enough though, one of them was a huge Rammstein fan and said he would come over to Justin's garage to give it a shot. He is very good at singing the Rammstein parts, but that was about all he could do. Their first drummer they found by putting an add up in local music stores. He told them he was on his way over, but the guy never showed, and he kinda just disappeared. Really though, what can you expect from a guy that calls himself "Crash." The next drummer did show up, even though he had about a 40 minute drive to their practice spot. They all played together a few times, and even played in the school talent show, but things weren't working out very well. The singer went PSYCHO on them, one day they were the coolest guy's in the world, and the next total losers (to the singer anyway). So the singer split, and not soon after, the drummer just kind of lost touch with them.
There they were, right were they started. They continued to jam, and record songs on to Justin's computer (kinda lame, but something to do and work on). They started to look around for another singer and drummer, and weren't having any luck. They decided to beg the Math teacher, Gary, to come and sing some with them, but he was reluctant at first. They eventually persuaded him by Scott taking his guitar to school one day, and Gary overhearing him playing Nothing Else Matters (By Metallica, duh!). He was amazed at how he could play the whole song and sound exactly like Metallica, and finally decided to give it a shot. He started off as a total country geek, but that didn't last too long. The more he heard Justin and Scott play Metallica the more he liked it. He loved their style of music, and they all got along really well, so they all stuck with it.
The drummer was found by TOTAL luck. Scott's cousin that goes to a different school, had heard we were looking for a drummer, and he asked around school. A 15 year old kid named Jake McKim said he would come and play long enough for them to find another drummer (he was already in a band). Low and behold, after one practice with the almighty Scott Napier and Justin Adcock, he decided to stay with them. Thus the birth of Blitzkreig.
The past couple of months (since Feb.) they have been practicing in Gary's garage. They have already begun to do gig's, and are becoming extremely popular. They have taken the approach of doing stuff nobody seems to want to do anymore. Stuff such as using distortion, and unloading with a plethora of Metallica tunes. Most bands probably can't even spell distortion!, let alone know how to use it. Bottomline....Come see us and find out for yourself!!
