They also re-released their Wop Hour 7", so go see them live (this is their 20th anniversary tour!) and buy their records and 7".

The Suffragette On-Hold!
The Infamous UK punk rock zine The Suffragette has been halted in it's photostatic tracks. But this won't be the last you've seen of this obnoxious little punk rock zine. Coz all the back issues will be up on-line on this site sooner or later! In fact Issue #1 is now up on Suffragette One. But If you can't wait and still want more of the Don't Care spiel check out the latest edition of Scanner #9 (see zine reviews) for his unremitting gobby column.

 LEAD LOONIE
Going going gone!
Bus Station Loonies lead Singer Chrius Wheelchair is quitting the band after their current UK tour. Reasons are unclear but it's thought to be the pressure of constant giggling and being nice to people. He will go out with a bang though coz The Bus Station Loonies will be attempting to set a new world record for the most gigs performed in 12 hours on 29th September 2001, performing 25 gigs at 25 different venues throughout Plymouth City Centre, Devon. All in aid of the Dame Hannah Rogers School, Ivybridge Devon for children with cerebal Palsy or accident damage, The event is now attracting a great deal of media interest. Apocalypse Babys are looking for a drummer after Andy (nice boy) Tyler walked out on the band on the eve of a nationwide batch of gigs, although the band are slightly disappointed with his decision they have promised to keep in touch and have promised not to disclose his rampant homosexuality to the public, oops sorry mate! anyone interested in the job (it's paid work!) should contact Asterix 01773 775312

SACK THE DRUMMER!
Seems like theres a distinct lack of drummers in the East Midlands lately. Poundaflesh
& Road Rage are currently drummerless! Poundaflesh got rid of there's after he attacked the singer (tee hee). And Roadrage sacked theirs for being basically crap! Maybe they could do a swop? If you wanna drum for any of em and are fast n solid they've got gigs booked!
So drop em a line at Poudaflesh or RoadRage

CONFLICT 45 & US TOUR
We'd just like to announce that the line-up for the forthcoming Conflict tour has been confirmed and the dates are now on the web site http://www.conflict.org.uk/t
It has been brought to our attention that Ticketmaster is far from the cheapest way of buying tickets for the California appearances - we are particularly shocked and dismayed that they will charge $19.50 for a single $10.50 ticket. We hope to be able to publish alternatives on the web site soon, but the venues and promoters are slow in responding to our requests for information. If you have already found an alternate cheaper means of buying the tickets please forward the details to [email protected] and we will post the information on the tours page.
Tickets for some shows are already selling well. In fact, after only a week, the Seattle venue has confirmed that more tickets have been pre-sold for this appearance than any other punk show at this venue. Thank you. Please note that this is one of the smaller venues on the tour - there are only 650 tickets available for this event, so as we mentioned before, advance tickets are advised. Tickets for the Los Angeles event are also selling well and show preliminary signs that this event will sell-out.
We have also posted links to venue information pages on-line maps and driving directions for each of the appearances for those of you wishing to travel. If you spot any of the information posted on the web site is incorrect or incomplete, please contact [email protected] with your alterations.
It seems the release of our single, "Now You've Put Your Foot In It" has caught the attention of the authorities yet again. On Monday, we attempted to ship completed single sleeves to Go-Kart records in New York in time for their August 4th release in the US. The shipping agency opened the cartons and immediately passed the artwork to the Metropolitan Police who advised them not to ship the it to the US. In the fax they sent us they described the artwork as "Vile and Disgusting". While it comes as no surprise that the British Government finds the truth vile and disgusting, it amazes us that in an age where rebellion is much more socially acceptable than in days gone by, that people can be offended by such material that in our opinion is really not that strong. Rest assured we will not be stopped, and instead we have already shipped the artwork electronically to New York to be sure the release date of August 4th is adhered to. If you know any stores or distributors that will stock it we will ship it direct. Please get in touch.
Conflict would like to thank all those who responded to our appeal for help, especially the Alternative Gathering collective, and everyone who has offered to help organise and advertise the forthcoming tour. If there is anyone else who can help with postering and flying please get in touch now. It would also be a good time for fanzines and radio stations to get in touch for interviews. Those wishing to bring stalls to the appearances should contact the Alternative Gathering Collective who are responsible for the organisations appearing at each appearance. They can be contacted by email at [email protected].
With the release of the single and the announcement of the tour, we seem to have offended especially a handful of people who said we couldn't or shouldn't go on this tour, and that the Underground DIY movement (for want of a better description) is not strong enough to support such a tour. We are grateful that you are all proving them wrong, and time and time again we are happy to announce that we will not be told to who or where we can or cannot appear.
Thankyou for your support and help once again. We hope to see you at the appearances on this tour very soon.
Take Care, CONFLICT

Did someone say columns??? Would you Adam & Eve it?
Anarcho chieftains Crass back in the early 80's  once played an impromptu support set to Nihilist Jocks,  the Exploited at London's 100 Club!  This cease fire in the UK punk wars still didn't stop Exploited blasting out  a rip roaring version of 'Sex & Violence' much to Crass's dismay!
