VIRUS. 9 started back in the spring of 1996 in a small city known as Medford
Oregon, As a four piece band playing weak, One minute songs that envolved no
talent, And practicing in Mike's living room while his mom was at work.
VIRUS. 9 pressed on after 3 short lived bass players and 3 different short
lived drummers, Mike and Josh (The only original members) Decided to get
serious and find people that would be dependable and be willing to add a
little flavor to the style.....Slowly but surely VIRUS.9's style and
creativity emerged and progressed.  VIRUS. 9 (Now a 5 piece) Found themselves
getting more involved with stage presence as well as props and gimmicks.  With
Mike Virus (Vocals) Running around on stage in a straight jacket and the rest
of the boys in gasmasks.
VIRUS. 9 Has developed a combination of fast, Unleashed, Heart stopping Punk
Rock, With a mixture of Hard-core and Ska-core to bring back the Oldschool
that once lived in the hearts of kids all over the world!
VIRUS. 9 is fast becoming a staple in the world of the "Independent Punkrock
scene" and has just released a 7'inch vinyl record on Mental Records,
entitled:
VIRUS. 9 -'51 at Enewetak-,They have also released a self produced DIY
cassette "VIRUS. 9 -The Welfare Society-, Which was recorded in Mike's living
room about 3 years ago and it really sucks (And is long since sold out and
also out of print) But could be considered a mile marker on the road of VIRUS.
9's development as a young Punkrock band!
Now new and improved with Mike Virus on vocals, J-Dubb on guitar and backing
vocals, Fingers on guitar and backing vocals, C-Dogg on bass guitar, and Aaron
on drums and backing vocals, You can look for VIRUS. 9 causing Wide Spread
Panic in a town near you!
