#mp3_rap is a channel on DALnet for serving and chatting about mp3s (mpeg layer 3).  you must follow certain rules to STAY in the channel.  if you serve your mp3s, youwill get a voice (+v), and if youve been serving for a long time and become familiar with theops founders/ops/servers), you might become opped (+o), or aopped.  if you wouldlike to join the #mp3_rap group, joining #mp3_rap. if there are any small things i need to add, fix, change, or whatever in this info file, ill do it whenever i find the time because always be making small changes.

What is allowed

1. Serving your mp3's
2. Starting conversation
3. Advertising your website/ftp site
4. Searching/requesting mp3s
5. Being friendly
6. All timers (above 2 minutes (240 seconds))
7. Away messages
8. Common Sense (If you aren't sure ask)

What isn't allowed

1. Advertising other channels
2. Porn ads or sites
3. Banners
4. Op begging
5. Ratios (don't be a lamer)
6. Trading
7. Flooding
8. Excessive caps
9. Leaving the channel while receiving an mp3
10. Annoying people
11. Being gay
12. Anything that u probity think u wouldn't dig on we probity won't either

OP RULES

1. If you are a #mp3_rap op and do not come into #mp3_rap, you will lose your op status (if you dont care about losing your op status, then fuck you)
2. If you dont do anything nice or helpful you will lose your op status
3. If you be annoying you will lose your op status
4. If you do anything else thats gay you will lose your op status
5. All op postion's must be approved by at least a Sop
6. You must follow these rules to stay/be allowed in #mp3_rap - if you dont follow these rules, you will be kicked, banned, or if youre really stupid, put on akick
